All of us here at Hôtel Le Toiny St Barth would like to thank so many of you for such wonderful messages of support and concern following hurricanes Irma and Maria.
The good news is that everyone is working hard towards a speedy and thoroughly healthy recovery. “Paradise will be regained”!
Nevertheless, we have a lot of work to do to make sure that the hotel sparkles as normal and it is clear that we will not be able to reopen in time for the beginning of the new season in November. We will keep you in close contact with progress.
We so much look forward to welcoming you back soon with everything restored to its wonderful former self. In the meantime, our thoughts remain with those affected across the region.
The island of St. Barth and its neighbouring islands of St. Maarten and Anguilla were severely impacted by hurricane Irma.
We are so very grateful for your wonderful expressions of support and concern. This storm hit during a time that the island's many resorts, including our own, were customarily closed for seasonal upgrades - so it looks like we will have a little more work on our hands now. We are conducting our assessment and will provide a more detailed update soon.
Whilst the damage to the island has been considerable the spirit of its people is strong! Recovery and clean-up plans and activities are already underway. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you and look forward to welcoming you back soon.
The people of St. Barth are resilient, fierce, and compassionate about this paradise. I have no doubt they'll come back even better than before. ❤️🌞 I love this island.
so relieved to see this post after the few pictures that have made it out of St. Barth's and the other nearby hard hit islands. Keep safe and we send prayers and love for your speedy recovery! Really fond memories visiting Le Toiny some years ago and it's been way too long & am determined to get back now as soon as possible! À bientôt!
So happy to hear from you! We are with you 100% and look forward to supporting your recovery efforts. We love St Barths and Le Toiny as our second home! <3
Thank you for the post. We've been praying for everyone affected by Irma as we await the arrival of this storm in Florida. I know the people of St. Barths are strong, passionate and resilient. It will take time and hard work but LeToiny, the gorgeous island paradise is sits on and it's people will survive and flourish. God bless you all ❤️
Sending love , support and confidence that the spirit of Le Toiny will give you the strength to get through this most difficult time!
As long as everyone is okay, the rest doesn't matter! You will rebuild to an even better resort. Of that, I have no doubt! <3
Certains évènements aussi dévastateurs soient-ils, rendent les êtres encore plus forts.
